Meet the Strategent Team
John Corso has achieved real, measurable results for individuals and organizations from various sectors of industry. He holds a Doctorate in Public Administration from the University of Southern California, with specific concentrations in performance measurement, evaluation, training, and organizational development, and research focused on team leadership and interpersonal dynamics. He teaches and lectures in strategy and performance management at Georgetown University’s School of Continuing Studies and McDonough School of Business and has practiced in all of these disciplines as an internal and external consultant since joining the University's adjunct faculty cadre in 2002. He has served as a manager, consultant, and coach to other managers and senior leaders for more than 35 years of public and private service.

Gary A. Steinberg, MBA
Vice President
Gary Steinberg is a former member of the Federal Senior Executive Service and a recognized leader in strategic planning, performance management, and organizational management. Currently an adjunct faculty member at Georgetown University, he previously served as Agency Director and Deputy Director for DOL’s Office of Workers' Compensation Programs (OWCP). He was a Meritorious Executive recipient of the President's Rank Award in 2015. He served as a Senior Executive at the Department of Health and Human Services as the Associate Deputy Assistant Secretary (DAS) for Human Resources (HR) where he was responsible for strategic human capital and performance management programs. He served for nine years at the Department of Veterans Affairs, where he was the DAS for Planning and Evaluation, responsible for strategic planning, program evaluation, organizational assessments, and management improvement programs. He began his Federal career at NASA where he served as Director for Strategic Management and Director for Continual Improvement Programs. He led the development of NASA's strategic and performance plans, the agency's strategic management system, and many of NASA's quality improvement initiatives. 

Prior to joining the government, Mr. Steinberg worked in private industry where he had management responsibilities in the areas of strategic and business planning, management controls, and quality.
Mr. Steinberg graduated from the University of Connecticut cum laude, earning a Bachelor of Science degree, and from the University of Hartford with a Masters Degree in business administration.
